A Dozen Things I want to do on stage is a new one-woman cabaret by Rebecca Nagle. Of the dozen, Nagle will undress to "Wenn Ich Mir Was Wunschen Durfte", fit in a small box, tell your secrets, discuss why something is racist, fall in love, read her fantasies, act out your fantasies, induce a tragedy, fall down, take truth serum while letting the audience ask her questions, tell a tall tale, and disembowel herself. Using the format of 1920's political European cabaret, A Dozen Things combines contortion, burlesque, poerty, games, lecture, ritual, confession, audience participation, science experiments, real-life moments and staged performance to deliver hard truths, half-truths and straight up lies. The cabaret plays with the familiar themes and tropes of the human condition, namely: sexuality, violence, fantasy, love, tragedy, ecstasy, history, and death. Nagle pits reality and action against fantasy and performance for an all out social deconstructionist battle..
Michelle L'amour's NAKED GIRLS READING is coming to OBERON!
Naked Girls Reading is a group of beautiful ladies who love to read...naked...out loud...in front of an audience. That's really it. There's not a whole lot more to it. You don't have to look for something larger here...once you experience it, you'll know. There's something beautiful and more intimate about a woman reading while naked; showcasing her mind and body at the same time. It's both extremely simple and profoundly complex.
Naked Girls Reading was started in Chicago in March 2009 by international burlesque sensation Michelle L'amour and producer Franky Vivid. The idea had rolled around in their heads for a few years in different formats, but with the opening of Chicago's Studio L'amour in 2008 they had found the perfect venue for an intimate live event. After the very first reading it was obvious to all in attendance that something big had just happened. Immediately, the press took hold and emails started coming in from cities all over the country from ladies interested in starting their own franchise. Now Boston joins Chicago, L.A., New York, Denver, and a whole host of other great cities as an official chapter of Naked Girls Reading.
The event is elegant and powerful, sexy and funny, and can be anything else from sweet to uplifting to melancholy. One thing's for sure, an evening at Naked Girls Reading is memorable, and may just change your life. You can read more about NAKED GIRLS READING at www.NakedGirlsReading.com or contact us at NGRBoston@gmail.com.

Relationships are complicated enough here at home. Imagine what they must be like in an Orthodox community in Israel! Join Prism for an interactive screening of three short films about the triumphs and challenges of love. Created by young Israeli filmmakers from the only orthodox film school in Israel, the Ma'aleh School of Television, Film and the Arts in Jerusalem, And Thou Shalt Love follows the story of Ohad, a gay seminary student who falls in love with his study partner.
